We Hear From Mr & Mrs Taylor at Augustus Fields: “Part Exchange took away some of the stress of house buying”.

We caught up with Josh and Lucy Taylor as they settled into their home at Augustus Fields with beautiful baby girl Imogen and their lovely Greyhound, Miriam!

Mr & Mrs Taylor took advantage of our Part Exchange Scheme and made their move to Augustus Fields in March 2023. They had the following to say about their customer journey with Walton Homes:

“We weren’t actively looking for a home when we entered the sales office at Augustus Fields. I had only recently had a baby and we were happy where we lived. However, my husband offered the suggestion that we might go and look around one Saturday afternoon.

 Not expecting to be able to view the home straight away, I enquired with Anita about a viewing. Helpfully, Anita was able to show us around immediately. As soon as we walked through the home, we knew it was the right fit for our forever home.”

 Mr & Mrs Taylor fell in love with our exceptional four-bedroom Leighton, we currently have a limited number of this sought-after house type available! Lucy continued to say:

 “The rooms were all spacious and the selling point was the open-plan living space at the back of the property. We fell in love with the house. Furthermore, the location of the house is excellent for local schools, shops, and amenities- my husband particularly likes the ten-minute walk to the local coffee shop in his lunch break when working from home!”

After not really planning to move home, Mr & Mrs Taylor didn’t really know where to start. They said “This got our minds whooshing as we hadn’t really planned on how to sell our home. However, Anita was brilliantly useful at explaining the Part Exchange process. As a new family, we decided Part Exchange took away some of the stress of house buying and we knew where we stood”.

 Since moving in, Mr and Mrs Taylor have enjoyed settling into their new community on Birchwood Grove, and we are glad to report that both baby Imogen and their greyhound, Miriam, have also definitely settled into their new home well. Lucy noted with their aftercare service that they “have been looked after and all of our queries have been dealt with in a timely manner”.
