The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities to ensure construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing site personnel, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on site.
Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, drawings, and specifications.
Manage day-to-day operations of the site, including scheduling labour, materials, and equipment.
Monitor project progress
Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain quality control and resolve issues promptly.
Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports, timesheets, and documentation.
Conduct pre occupation inspections, customer demonstrations, customer care and property handover.
Manage site logistics, including delivery of materials and waste removal.
Lead site meetings and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
Identify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions.
Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented on site.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience managing residential projects.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Strong understanding of project scheduling and cost control.
