Sales and Marketing Manager
Walton Homes are seeking a new homes Sales and Marketing Manager to join its management team; the ideal candidate will have experience in both property Sales along with a basic understanding of marketing including social media and digital.
Role Description
This role will include but will not be limited to:
You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving the on-site sales advisors to achieve reservations, exchanges, and completions in line with such targets.
Weekly meetings will be held on each development to support the on-site team with occasional weekend support required.
Attention should be given to all sales areas, ensuring a presentable and professional environment for customers and staff including offices, showhomes and stock plots.
You will be involved in the set up of new developments and sales areas, occasionally weekend support is required for site launches.
Manage the process of plot sales from reservation to completion, coordinating the necessary paperwork including financial payments
Regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting is required in line with company procedures. You will be in attendance with management meetings.
Proactively liaise with customers and other internal and external parties, as necessary including Estate Agents, Portals and Suppliers.
We require an organised individual that can ensure procedures and processes are seen through to completion with an attention to detail at all times.
The Sales Manager will manage all relevant online portal development listings with the support from the department administrator, along with producing up to date price lists and documents associated with property sales. You will manage and liaise regularly with supporting estate agents.
We ask that you are a motivated individual with a drive to achieve goals and support other members of the organisation. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and be willing to turn your hand to things when required.
You should stay informed of the property market and wider current affairs through newspapers, journals, online content, and other information avenues.
You will work to support and assist with the Marketing of developments including social media, website, brochures, assets, signage and other aspects.
Key requirements
You should be a highly organised individual with examples of multi-tasking in a previous role
Previous sales experience is essential
Knowledge of the construction industry is required
You should have knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
Good understanding of the buying process including government backed schemes
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word essential.
Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written
Ability to speak professionally with customers and suppliers
Punctual, reliable and a team player
