WALTON HOMES TO UNVEIL SHOWHOME AT LUXURY CHEADLE DEVELOPMENT
Walton Homes is putting the finishing touches to a luxury showhome at its new site in Cheadle ahead of its unveiling next month.
The business commenced work on the Augustus Fields development, located off Birchwood Grove, last year, and following a surge in enquiries about the properties, will launch the showhome on April 9th to give potential buyers a feel for the site and showcase the properties.
Augustus Fields, a select development comprising of 39 high-specification three- to five-bedroom homes, is located close to the amenities of Cheadle town centre, with construction due to complete later this year.
Director Amy Summerton said: “It has been a while since we launched a showhome – the demand around new homes over the past couple of years has really rendered it unnecessary – but we decided to transform one of the properties at the site to inspire visitors and show them the quality they can expect from a Walton Home.

For the first time, the developer has chosen to showcase a bungalow, to reflect the changes in buyer demographics. With demand for housing across the region surging post-pandemic, the business conducted extensive market research, with many potential buyers stating that they were looking to move to smaller homes in more idyllic locations, leading to a number of bungalows being incorporated into the development.
The business will throw open the doors to The Bellingham, a three-bedroom bungalow, to showcase single-storey luxury living with an emphasis on space, quality and tranquillity. The high specification property includes a spacious Haden Design kitchen/dining room with Porcelenosa tiles and integrated Indesit appliances, while a separate living room benefits from French doors opening onto the rear garden to welcome the outside in. The master bedroom has an en-suite, with a separate family bathroom serving and two further bedrooms.
