LABC Warranty hosts training day at Walton Homes’ Park development

3 December 2025

Walton Homes was delighted to welcome members of the LABC Warranty team to its Acresford Park development in Handsacre, Staffordshire, on Wednesday 19th November for a dedicated consistency day.

The session brought together 12 LABC Warranty managers and surveyors for a full tour of the development, which features a premium collection of luxury homes in one of Staffordshire’s most desirable villages. The visit formed part of LABC Warranty’s ongoing commitment to ensuring consistency across its inspection processes and award assessments, giving team-members the opportunity to review a wide range of construction stages in a live site environment.

Across the day, participants explored the full breadth of the build process, from initial foundations and block-and-beam floors through to brickwork, superstructure, joists, plastering, services, roofing and final completion. Acresford Park provided a rare opportunity to observe multiple stages of construction simultaneously, making it the ideal setting for the group to deepen their knowledge and align their approaches.

Walton Homes’ emphasis on exceptional build quality and the development’s central location made it a natural choice for hosting the event.

Amy Summerton, Managing Director at Walton Homes, said:
“The LABC Warranty plays a crucial role in ensuring the very highest construction standards are met in new developments. Recognising the vital role LABC Warranty surveyors play in the housebuilder ecosystem, we were absolutely delighted to welcome them to our development at Acresford Park. It was a day full of useful knowledge, and I am glad our homes at Acresford Park were able to play such a key role in it.”

Peter Dunn, Regional Manager for LABC Warranty and coordinator of the event, added:
“It was fantastic to spend the day at Walton Homes’ Acresford Park development recently, with a full day of inspection and discussion that really helps us ensure a consistent approach across our surveying network. We’ve had some excellent feedback from those who attended, who found it an informative and thought-provoking day. The information we gather from these days is crucial as many important topics get discussed, and it is important to gather individuals’ opinions. I’d like to thank Walton Homes on behalf of everyone who attended for allowing us to use their site.”

Walton Homes is proud to support training and development initiatives across the industry and remains committed to delivering exceptional quality homes that stand the test of time.
