Matthew & Zoe Melland share their Dream Home Journey with Walton Homes!

Finding your dream home can be a lengthy process, for Mr and Mrs Melland, their search ended after two years of exploring properties in and around Staffordshire when they discovered our exclusive selection of 22 luxury homes in Alverton View, situated in the heart of Alton Village, Staffordshire.
After visiting our Sales & Marketing Suite and touring our magnificent four-bedroom Porcester home, Mrs Melland stated that they “immediately knew this was a house that we could call home and somewhere we could see ourselves moving our family to.” Our mission is to build stunning developments in excellent locations with local amenities that cater to the needs of families, downsizers, and first-time buyers alike.
Moving with Assisted Move:
The couple used the Assisted Move Scheme to secure their dream home in the charming village of Alton. They noted that they utilised this scheme to “try and reduce the stress of moving home since we were in the later stages of pregnancy and already had an active two-year-old. Using a local estate agent who already had buyers waiting, we were able to sell our house without it even hitting the open market, and with the help of a local solicitor, we moved in approximately three months later.”
From the initial reservation to moving in, the process was speedy, with our Sales Team supporting Mr and Mrs Melland throughout. The Sales Executive, in particular, was instrumental in making the process simple, with Mrs Melland observing that “she was fantastic at chasing our chain,” while also noting their ability to access their home during the time it took to agree and exchange contracts to ensure everything was perfect for them.
After the move, comes our experienced After-Sales Team:
During this time, Mr. and Mrs. Melland welcomed their new baby into the world and their family. With two children under two and moving, our sales team, aftercare, and site team wanted to ensure that the move was seamless for Mr and Mrs Melland.
Our experienced Site Manager, Kevin, and Customer Service Manager, Dave, were there to greet them on moving day, hand over the keys, and ensure everything was up to their expectations. The couple praised Dave’s care and attention to detail, especially when it came to ensuring that their washing machine was plumbed in correctly. Dave even arranged for a joiner to make a last-minute alteration to the kitchen unit, recognizing that they had a two-week-old baby and a toddler, and would have plenty of washing to do!
As Mr. and Mrs. Melland continue to settle into their beautiful new Walton Home, we will continue to work hard to address anything that arises during their 14-day inspection. They are reassured that they have access to a customer service line, emergency contacts, a 2-year warranty, and a 6-month follow-up visit.
