Walton Homes puts the welcome mat out for part-ex customers

House hunters in Armitage are being given the chance to learn about the benefits associated with purchasing a property through a part exchange scheme, at a special open day next weekend (Saturday 20th October).

The open day is being led by the UK’s largest part exchange company, Quick Move Properties and local housebuilder Walton Homes. Open to everyone looking for a new house in the area, the drop-in question and answer session is being held at Walton’s exclusive Appledore development on New Road in Armitage, between 11am and 5pm.

The housebuilder’s own part exchange scheme – which has been developed in association with Quick Move Properties – was launched at Appledore last month, allowing house hunters to use their existing property as part payment for one of the luxury homes.

Under the part exchange scheme available at Appledore, Walton Homes and Quick Move Properties obtain two independent valuations of the purchaser’s existing property, gaining a fair representation of the property’s value. A formal offer is then made and, upon acceptance by the homeowner, a solicitor is instructed to complete the sale. An agreed date is set for completion and the new purchaser is free to move into their new home.
