Part-exchange weekend showcases new homes at Evergreens

28th May 2013

Househunters looking for a new family home in Kingsbury are invited to pop along to a part-exchange event over the upcoming bank holiday weekend at Walton Homes’ intimate Evergreens housing scheme.

Open to anyone looking for a new house in the area, the informal drop-in session aims to show people how a part-exchange scheme can help those who may be stuck in a chain to unlock the door to a brand new home. The event is being held at Evergreens development, which is located on the corner of Trinity and Tamworth road between 11am and 5pm on the 25th, 26th and 27th May.

Presenting a portfolio of just four executive family homes set in an attractive semi-rural location, Evergreens offers an exclusive collection of properties starting in price from £350,000 for a spacious four bedroom property, up to £395,000 for an executive five bedroom house. Emphasising the individuality of the homes, each property is personalised with its own name, including Yewtree House, Orchard House and Evergreen House.

Proving its commitment to helping families climb the property ladder, Walton Homes’ part-exchange scheme has been launched at a number of its sites across the Midlands, allowing househunters to use their existing property as part payment for one of the exclusive homes.

Helen Rollason, sales manager at Walton Homes said: “We’re really pleased to be able to offer a part-exchange scheme at Evergreens, giving growing families who are looking to upsize a helping-hand to buy their new home.

“Moving home should be an exciting time, but this can be overshadowed by the disappointment and stress people feel when a sale falls through due to the chain collapsing below. Offering peace of mind, under our part-exchange scheme Walton Homes will purchase the owner’s current property for a fair and agreed price, enabling them to move into their new dream home within a matter of weeks.”

Under the part exchange scheme available at Evergreens, Walton Homes will obtain two independent valuations of the purchaser’s existing property, gaining a fair representation of the property’s value. A formal offer is then made and, upon acceptance by the homeowner, a solicitor is instructed to complete the sale. An agreed date is then set for completion and the new purchaser is free to move into their new home.

Helen added: “We pride ourselves in taking the hassle out of moving home, allowing buyer’s to concentrate on picking decor and interiors to put their own individual stamp on their new home – as well as sorting out who does or doesn’t deserve the second en-suite bathroom of course!”

Designed with modern families in mind, all the properties at Evergreens come with large double bedrooms and lots of additional storage, including double-door fitted wardrobes in the majority of the bedrooms – not to mention that two of the bedrooms come with a contemporary en-suite bathroom in addition to a large family bathroom.

Evergreens is conveniently located in the heart of the village, within walking distance from Kingsbury High School and Kingsbury Primary School and benefits from good road links to Tamworth, Lichfield and Coventry, which is just 15 minutes’ drive away. The development is also situated close to the A4097 Kingsbury Road, providing easy access to the M6 toll road and the M42.
