On the hunt for last new homeowners at Priory Point, Handsacre

23rd August 2012

Construction is now complete at Walton Homes’ Priory Point residential development in Handsacre, meaning that all remaining homes are ready for immediate occupation.

An impressive 70 per cent of the homes have already been sold at Priory Point, located on Lichfield Road, including all nine of the stylish apartments. The remaining four houses at the development have now been released for sale, with prices starting from a competitive £169,950 for a three bedroom house. The same property can be purchased for just £135,950 when purchased under Walton Homes’ equity loan scheme, Lion’s Share.

Designed with purchasers in mind, the four remaining properties, including ‘The Bradmore ’show home, all benefit from high quality fixtures and fittings, including a large feature window on the front staircase. The show home also boasts stylish French doors leading onto the patio and rear turfed garden. All four of the three bedroom houses are being sold with two parking spaces included as standard.

Helen Rollason, sales manager at Walton Homes said: “Not only have we successfully sold more than 70 per cent of the homes at Priory Point but we have also now welcomed the first new homeowners to the site, meaning there is a real hive of activity surrounding the development.

“With all four of our remaining houses now build-complete and fully carpeted, new purchasers will be able to move straight into their new home – making the whole moving process much less stressful. For the first time since construction began, visitors will be able to see the exact house that they will be moving into, meaning they can plan exactly where their furniture will go and whose room will be whose.”

Now complete, Priory Point – which is located just a short walk from the centre of Handsacre – consists of five, three bedroom houses and nine, one and two bedroom apartments.

Walton Homes will now be focussing its build efforts on its upcoming developments in the local area, including the soon-to-be-launched Evergreens in Kingsbury, where homes will be available to purchase off-plan in a matter of weeks. The local developer has also recently announced that it is aiming to build 25 per cent more homes than originally planned by year end at its Brindley Rise site in Rugeley.

Helen continues: “At the beginning of 2012, Walton Homes set out to start construction at six new sites throughout the year and I am pleased to say that we are still on track to fulfil this aim. In the past eight months we have sold out at five of our residential developments in the Midlands, started construction on four schemes and completed our build programme at a further two sites.

“In the next four months we will be starting construction on another two developments and looking to acquire more land for further sites in 2013.”
