Homes are snapped up quickly by ‘second steppers’ at Appledore, Armitage

Nearly 50 per cent of homes have now been sold at Walton Homes’ Appledore development in Armitage, which was launched to the public just three months ago.
Located on New Road, just five homes – all four bedroom detached houses – now remain at Appledore, with the majority of homes sold to those people moving up the property ladder.

Recent research by national bank Lloyds TSB revealed that 19 per cent of people already living in their first home and looking to move on do not have enough equity to do so. The research also found that the average second home is priced at 32 per cent more than a homeowner’s first property.
The new homes at Appledore start in price from £235,000 for a four bedroom house with large garden and private garage. All the houses at Appledore are fitted to a high internal specification and boast contemporary and stylish kitchens and porcelanosa bathrooms.
