Construction nears completion at Priory Point, Handsacre

15th June 2012

The new Priory Point residential development on Lichfield Road in Handsacre is now 90 per cent complete, with just one remaining home due to be delivered by local housebuilder, Walton Homes , in the next few weeks.

The five, three bedroom houses are the latest additions to the development – which also consists of nine, one and two bedroom apartments – and have been designed to appeal to a broad target market. The exterior features a striking blend of red brick and cream render and the houses benefit from a spacious garden and two private parking spaces.

Just four houses and one apartment remain for sale at Priory Point which has proved especially popular amongst first time buyers in the local area who are looking to start a family.

Helen Rollason, sales manager at Walton Homes said: “To be so near completion is a great feeling and I know we are all waiting in anticipation to see the finished development in all its glory.

“Even though we see many artists’ impressions of the development before and during the construction stage, it is very exciting to see it off the paper and in solid form before you. It’s not just bricks and mortar that the construction team are putting in place, they are creating someone’s dream home. At Walton it is our aim to create the perfect backdrop for your future adventures to begin.”

The news of Priory Point nearing completion comes just weeks after Walton Homes announced that construction had started on its newest site, The Evergreens, in Kingsbury.

Helen continues: “Walton Homes has experienced a strong first quarter of 2012 and construction is really progressing well at many of our sites. The groundwork has now started at our latest site in Kingsbury and our construction team will be starting on two more sites later in the year. It certainly is a busy time!”

Competitively priced in the local market place, the three bedroom houses at Priory Point start from £169,950 and are available under Walton Homes’s equity loan scheme, Lion’s Share. Through Lion’s Share, buyers will only need to pay 85 per cent of the value of their chosen plot through a five per cent deposit and a conventional mortgage. Walton Homes will pay the remaining 15 per cent share, with the only requirement being that when the property is eventually sold on, or after 10 years – whichever is sooner – the 15 per cent interest free loan is paid back to the developer.

Under Lion’s Share The Bradmore style three bedroom house can be purchased for £144,075 and the new buyer will need a deposit of just £8,475.
